The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing and growing Central Health’s presence on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, and X, or any platforms that might emerge, and managing other digital channels including email newsletters and online communities to amplify longer-form storytelling and messaging. The Social Media Specialist will create and adapt content to be accessible and engaging for Travis County residents with lower literacy levels or limited English proficiency, using plain language, visual storytelling, and multilingual content. This role will focus on increasing community awareness, engagement, and trust in Central Health’s mission to improve access to health care for Travis County residents with low income. This position works in an approved on-site Central Health location with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week if it does not interfere with business needs. Occasional work outside normal hours and on weekends might be required.
