Overview

*This is a hybrid position. Individuals in this position may work both at an approved off-site
location and onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on business needs.*

 

Responsible for providing legal support and project coordination to Central Health's Legal Department for a range
of legal services and matters related to Central Health's health care operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize, coordinate and manage legal projects and work assignments to include developing legal project plans,
    leading legal project team activities, and managing day-to-day operational aspects of a legal project from
    beginning to end.
  • Lead project team members and/or subject matter experts in defining legal project scope, resource
    requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Continually monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, documenting lessons learned, identifying risk
    points and proposing solutions or escalating through the chain of command to leadership as needed.
  • Manage calendars of members of the Legal Department, including availability of attendees and conference
    rooms, meeting notifications and reminders and preparation of meeting materials.
  • Act as frontline liaison between Legal Department and Central Health internal departments.
  • Assist Legal Department in drafting and revising a variety of complex documents including, but not limited to,
    health care provider agreements, vendor contracts, policies, procedures, and governance documents related to
    Central Health’s Medical Executive Board.
  • Assist with the management and calendaring of deadlines for issues central to the Legal Department’s
    operations, including third-party deadlines, governance of Central Health’s Medical Executive Board or other
    time-sensitive matters.
  • Assist with filing, production and organization of company documents, research materials, contracts, and
    discovery items.
  • Assist with the development of forms and organization of legal files and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Counsel, Associate Counsel and/or Legal Services Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining system for tracking important legal matters and disseminating information to internal and
    external stakeholders.
  • Attend internal meetings as assigned by the Chief Legal Counsel, Associate Counsel or Legal Services Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required 
  • 3 years experience in a legal support role or professional services role supporting
    multiple professionals. - Required
  • 1 year experience managing projects, preferably related to health care. - Preferred
  • 3 years experience in a legal support role, preferably in the health care industry. - Preferred
