Overview

Position Summary
As a key member of the Clinical Services team and a steward of a collaborative and supportive culture, the Manager of Onboarding and Care Team Liaison, in partnership with key stakeholders, will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the Clinical Services Department's onboarding and offboarding process and serving as a liaison for the care team supporting engagement and retention initiatives.

 

This position is considered Hybrid, which means that individuals in this position may work both at an approved Offsite location and Onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on Business Needs.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

 

Onboarding:
• Develops, actively maintains, and executes an onboarding and offboarding process in support of the care team.
• Collaborates with Clinical Services leadership to determine initial onboarding experiences needed for each position.
• Assists with developing Job Descriptions.
• Facilitates regular communication between stakeholders including Recruitment, Legal, Credentialing and others related to onboarding new care team members.
• Performs any administrative tasks related to onboarding and offboarding, including but not limited to, scheduling onboarding activities and creating and maintaining an onboarding activity tracking system.
• Serves as a resource to all new associates and their leaders for questions, and supplies resources to facilitate successful onboarding experiences.
• Develops, implements, and maintains onboarding resources for hiring managers including checklists, training and best practice guides.
• Regularly assesses and recommends program changes and enhancements to drive better retention and engagement of new hires.
• Connects with new associates to evaluate onboarding experience and recommend ways to enhance the new hire onboarding programs and experience, including structured stay interviews, validated surveys, tracking/trending data and other methods.
• Actively participates in the development, tracking, and achievement of onboarding program success metrics, using validated tools and evidence-based guidelines when available.
• Other duties as assigned.


Engagement/Enrichment:
• Designs and implements comprehensive care team engagement and retention strategies with measurable long-term and short-term goals. Serves as a lifecycle liaison for the care team.
• Serves as a change agent for the organization.
• Instills confidence, trust and respect in others.
• Provides key stakeholders with performance dashboards and metrics that communicate the value and outcomes of wellness and retention initiatives.
• Partners with Human Resources in wellness and rewards program and initiatives.
• Partners with Human Resources and Education departments on workforce development.
• Develops communication and marketing strategies including presentations around key initiatives.
• Develops, actively maintains, and executes plans for optimizing care team engagement and retention.
• Ensure ongoing communication and relationships with new and existing associates to assess satisfaction and wellness, implementing process improvements as appropriate.
• Actively participates in the development, tracking, and achievement of program success metrics, using validated tools and evidence-based guidelines when available.
• Partners with clinical leadership to participate in monthly listening rounds. Partners with wellness champions in each department to understand their needs to share with key stakeholders as well as disseminate information related to wellness to ensure open, transparent communication.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources, or related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: A master’s degree in business, marketing, human resources, or related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• Five (5) years of progressive HR or clinical operations experience with an emphasis on process improvement, employee onboarding, engagement and/or wellness strategies.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: N/A

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
Human Resources or wellness-related certification.
