The People Rewards Specialist is responsible for supporting and implementing total rewards programs and projects that align with Central Health's total reward strategies and philosophy. This role involves assisting compensation programs and projects, supporting People and Rewards leadership, and collaborating with the people team on efficiency, contributing significantly to the organization's overall operational excellence.
Essential Functions
-Provide support, maintaining job descriptions on the shared drive and inside the job description management system and processing employee-related transactions covering all systems changes related to movements across the entire employee lifecycle
-Actively participate in projects aimed at streamlining People and Total Rewards processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with established policies, standards, and best practices.
-Collaborate effectively with the people team on employee recognition platforms and promote program awareness and participation
-Participate in special projects and initiatives to further the organization's goals
-Assist with other Total Rewards initiatives as needed by the team
-Performs any other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization
-Ensure all employee-related transactions and total rewards processes comply with company policy
-Coordinate and assist with final pay administration for team members inside HRIS system
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent (higher degree accepted)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-1 year of experience in Human Resources and/or Total Rewards
-Specific experience with HR operations or HR service delivery with a focus on system optimization and process improvement
