Overview

The Compensation Analyst – Core Compensation is responsible for supporting compensation programs through market analysis, job evaluation, and alignment of positions across the organization to ensure pay practices are competitive, equitable, and consistent. This role partners with Talent Acquisition and department leaders to support compensation decisions and maintain alignment in job structure and pay practices across the system.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions


GENERAL DUTIES

 

-Support the execution of compensation programs in alignment with established strategy, guidelines, and processes
-Analyze compensation data to support decision-making and ensure consistency in application
-Collaborate with Compensation team members to support priorities and initiatives
-Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of compensation data across systems
-Provide guidance to leaders and team members on compensation processes and expectations
-Identify issues or inconsistencies and escalate as appropriate
-Maintain documentation, procedures, and records related to compensation activities
-Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the department

 

FOCUS AREAS – CORE COMPENSATION

 

-Conduct market benchmarking and job matching to ensure competitive positioning
-Support job description development and perform job evaluations
-Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide offer guidance and support hiring decisions
-Ensure alignment of positions, job structures, and compensation practices across departments
-Support consistent application of compensation ranges and internal equity considerations
-Participate in compensation surveys and market research

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

-Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

-3 years of experience in compensation, HR, finance, or a related field

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

-Experience with compensation systems and tools preferred
