Overview

The People Data Analyst is a critical role focused on the strategic application of HR analytics to enhance organizational decision-making and effectiveness. This position will focus on the delivery of analytics tools and the operational application of data insights. This role involves conducting data analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations that support the People Department’s strategy.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Data-Driven Analysis & Strategic Recommendations:
  • Analyze people data to identify trends and anomalies to inform strategic decision making.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding people data inquiries and requests.
  • Support dashboard creation and refinement.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting solutions to stakeholders upon request.
  • Process Improvement & Data Integrity:
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to ensure accurate people data management.
  • Monitors data quality; identifies discrepancies and coordinates remediation.
  • Validates data changes, especially during fiscal year-end periods, and ensures data integrity across systems.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated approach to the service delivery of the department’s functions.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all department and company information and data, as well as ensures adherence and compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls specific to the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in developing advanced analytics from multiple data sources, interpreting and analyzing trends, and making meaningful recommendations. 
  • Proficiency in HR analytics, predictive modeling, and workforce planning, with experience in UKG and other HRIS platforms. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present information and data in a consistent, organized, and accurate manner. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) in a quantitative discipline, Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in people analytics or a similar strategic role, with a strong focus on data analysis, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration
  • 3 years of experience developing and implementing analytics solutions within UKG or similar HRIS platforms (Required), as well as expertise in utilizing business intelligence visualization tools, i.e. PowerBI, Looker etc
