Overview

The Associate Director, Operations - Specialty Care is responsible for the administrative and clinical operations of Central Health's Specialty service lines. This role is responsible for providing leadership in the development and implementation of clinical programs and initiatives, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additional key responsibilities include program design and sustainment of high quality patient services, standardized processes, and increased operational efficiencies.

 

Reporting to the Director of Operations - Specialty Care, the Associate Director, Operations will provide direct oversight and guidance to an assigned team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of service lines and initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the Director of Operations to develop long-term strategic plan(s) for assigned service lines; with Nursing and Clinical leadership to define yearly goals for service lines and programs; Leads planning processes for new service line development and expansion.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop program management staff or other assigned roles, providing guidance and direction to foster individual and team performance.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors reporting and tracking systems that aid in the evaluation and design of ongoing programs and specialty service lines. Will be responsible for developing action plans to meet assigned quality metrics and KPI’s.
  • Prepares monthly and annual evaluations for leadership team’s review including identified opportunities to improve services and programs
  • Collaborates with Associate Medical Directors to strategize and develop specialty and service line expansion of services and improvements.
  • Supports the Director of Operations by providing leadership in the development and implementation of innovative programs/initiatives to address and improve the health status of patients served and to use resources to increase access, improve quality, and maintain or reduce cost.
  • Supports and participates in strategic business initiatives and plans for areas of responsibility and develops goals, objectives, and financial projections to ensure successful implementation.
  • Performs any other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.
  • Works in partnership with the Director of Revenue Cycle and team to monitor efficiency and effectiveness of billing process and patient charges; coordinates with affiliates and partners organizations/providers as necessary.
  • Works with Project Managers to design, implement and develop new programs, service lines and optimization efforts within portfolio.

    and guidance.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) In Business, Health Care Administration, or related field

Minimum Experience:

  • 6 years Progressive leadership experience Required And
  • 5 years Management experience in a healthcare setting Required And
  • 5 years Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups Required And
  • Demonstrate ability to organize, manage, implement larger projects in a healthcare delivery environment setting Required
