The Associate Counsel – Healthcare Delivery is responsible for representing Central Health in legal matters and providing legal advice and counsel to the organization and its leaders related to healthcare delivery operations, compliance, contracting for healthcare services and Central Health’s practice of medicine and related operations as directed by the Chief Legal Counsel – Healthcare Delivery. The Associate Counsel will support the development of Central Health’s Medical Executive Board and its P&T, credentialing, quality, peer review and clinical service line subcommittees and the health care compliance and risk components of the organization. The Associate Counsel will also advise on and support the ongoing operation of Central Health’s practice of medicine and its clinical operations, including matters that warrant consideration or awareness by the Medical Executive Board. The Associate Counsel will develop and implement programs, systems, policies and procedures to help prevent and mitigate both legal and compliance risks associated with Central Health’s functions as a health care organization. The role involves providing direct patient care and performing GI endoscopies. Additionally, the gastroenterologist will complete e-consults and e-reviews in an outpatient clinic setting as required. In this position, the gastroenterologist will play a crucial role in designing clinical workflows aimed at improving access to care, supporting evidence-based practices, and enhancing overall efficiency. This role also includes serving as an attending physician for learners at various levels and potentially supervising advanced practice providers. As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, the gastroenterologist will collaborate closely with patients to jointly improve their quality of life. This is a full-time outpatient clinical role that involves direct clinical sessions, divided between ambulatory visits, e-consults/reviews, and conducting endoscopies. JOB SUMMARY Central Health is looking for a skilled neurologist to join their expanding team and provide care to the underserved community in Travis County.The role involves providing direct patient care and overseeing and interpreting EEGs/EMGs. Additionally, the neurologist will also complete e-consults and e-reviews in an outpatient clinic setting as required. In this position, the neurologist will help design clinical workflows to improve access to care, support evidence-based practice and improve efficiency. This role will serve as both an attending to learners at various levels and may supervise advanced practice providers. As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, the neurologist will collaborate closely with the patient to jointly improve their quality of life. This is a full-time outpatient clinical role that involves direct clinical sessions, divided between ambulatory visits, e-consults/reviews, and the conduction of EEGs/EMGs. Ten percent of clinical time is allocated to administrative tasks.
The cardiologist's role encompasses comprehensive cardiac care, provided through in-person visits, video visits, e-consults, and e-reviews in an outpatient clinic. They will also be involved in supervising and/or conducting various non-invasive diagnostic procedures, such as echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, exercise treadmill stress testing, holter and event monitors, based on clinical indications. In addition to patient care, this position emphasizes teaching and mentorship as integral components of the care model. The cardiologist will actively participate in, and even lead, initiatives aimed at building programs focused on cardiovascular disease processes and prevention. Working in a multi-specialty clinical environment, collaboration with other specialties will be vital for providing comprehensive care. Moreover, the cardiologist may have the responsibility of overseeing the practice of advanced practice providers to ensure cohesive and effective patient management.
Under the supervision of the Provider Reimbursement Supervisor, and in collaboration with Service Delivery Operations (SDO) staff, and other staff across all disciplines and departments, is responsible for reviewing processed claim runs from the TPA (Request For Funds, or RFFs), processing invoiced services from network providers, and for preparing system configuration documents for the TPA. Claim run and invoiced services reviews include communicating results and suggestions to providers, management, and the TPA. This position will support the implementation of changes to the CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 codes on an annual and ad hoc basis. The Provider Relations Reimbursement Specialist works with SDO staff, TPA staff, and management to educate and service providers within established guidelines, and assures compliance with contract requirements. Under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Supervisor, responsible for revenue cycle functions including and not limited to coding/edit charge review, accurate timely submission of insurance claims, failed claims/follow‐up resolutions, training, education, research, denial appeals, resolving unpaid medical claims, cash posting, processing billing calls and inquiries and may serve as an intermediary between healthcare providers, clients, patients, and health insurance companies. Adheres to internal coding policies and expectations set forth by management and acts as a trainer and resource: Reviewing clinical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and other relevant codes; Ensuring that all codes assigned align with the services rendered, diagnoses, and treatments documented in the patient's medical records; Making necessary adjustments to codes in cases where discrepancies or errors are identified; Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding as needed; Adhering to all applicable coding guidelines, including those provided by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Process accurate code assignments for paper and /or electronic claims and required billing data elements prior to charges being processed for payment and revenue reporting, including coding /edit reviews. Ensures all professional aspects of the assignment of diagnostic and procedural coding is carries out in compliance with applicable Medicare, Medicaid and third‐party payer guidelines. This position is responsible for conducting coding audits, communicating results and recommendations to providers, management, and executive administration, and providing training and education to providers and ancillary staff. This position will support the implementation of changes to the CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 codes on an annual basis.The Senior Compliance Coding Auditor will have dotted line reporting to the Chief Compliance & Risk Officer.

The Senior Epic Application Analyst exhibits leadership skills, project management skills and mentorship skills and takes responsibility as the leader, organizer, and mentor for their application(s).This position is considered remote, which means that individuals in this position may work at their place of residence; however, they may be required to occasionally visit the CommUnityCare administrative office or health centers in Austin, Texas. The Sr. Operations Manager will oversee one or more of the Central Health's service areas that support its goal of creating a comprehensive highly coordinated system of care for identified vulnerable populations in Travis County. Responsibilities for this position include daily operations oversight, operational planning, and serving as the working owner/subject matter expert associated with assigned service areas. Service areas and programs may include primary care, specialty care, urgent care, behavioral health, telemedicine, or others and may include oversight of relevant projects. Responsibilities include gathering and interpreting data, developing and maintaining timelines, monitoring budgets and contract limits, mitigating risks, fostering sustainable relationships with community partners, and serving as a strategic thinking partner within the project team. This position will report to an Operations Director and will work closely with operations, claims payment, medical management, contracting, legal and analytics departments as well as clinical and operations leadership.
The Senior Systems and Cloud Engineer role is to maintain and administer the firm's cloud services (such as Software as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, etc.) as well as the hardware and virtual infrastructure including servers, appliances, server-based applications, security devices and related components to achieve secure, high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. This individual will work with our Infrastructure Team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloudbased solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and migrating services to the cloud, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure. This includes planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, administering, supporting, and optimizing cloud solutions and services. The Sr. Cloud Engineer will work closely with other Infrastructure teams, profit centers, service desks and level 2 and 3 Microsoft 365 support staff. Serve as a subject matter expert contributing to a wide variety of projects in support of the enterprise workplace and collaborations roadmap. Provide technical guidance in planning and implementing new solutions while ensuring existing platforms remain stable. The Healthcare Services Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and directing the daily activities of Health Services Coordinators, Health Services Coordinator – Specialists, and Health Services Coordinator – Leads in Central Health's Navigation Center. The position will support access to primary care, specialty care, surgical services, acute care, post-acute care and other service areas. Responsibilities for this position include training staff, developing and documenting processes, reviewing and interpreting reports and serving as an escalation point for staff to resolve service, patient and referral process concerns. The supervisor will also perform duties to support pre-authorization and pre-registration activities, scheduling, and receiving and documenting results and surgical notes for procedures and surgeries performed by Central Health providers at contracted network facilities. This position will report to the Navigation Center Manager, and will work closely with operations, claims payment, eligibility, medical management, contracting, legal and analytics departments as well as clinical and operations leadership.
