  • Overview

    The Operations Manager will oversee one or more of the CCC’s service areas that support the CCC’s vision of creating a national model for healthcare delivery for identified vulnerable populations in Travis County. Responsibilities for this position include daily operations oversight, operational planning, and serving as the working owner/subject matter expert associated with assigned service lines. Service lines and programs may include primary care, specialty care, urgent care, behavioral health, telemedicine, or others and may include oversight of relevant projects within the CCC’s Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program. Working collaboratively with the CCC’s Project Management Office, the Operations Manager will oversee relevant service line projects throughout the project management process and will remain the responsible leader for ongoing operations upon project completion. Responsibilities include gathering and interpreting data, developing and maintaining project schedules, maintaining and properly controlling scope, monitoring budgets, mitigating risks, fostering sustainable relationships with community partners, and serving as a strategic thinking partner within the project team. This position will report to a CCC operations leader and will work closely with operations, claims payment, medical management, contracting, legal and analytics departments as well as CCC clinical and operations leadership.

    Responsibilities

    • In collaboration with leadership, define and manage overall program objectives, scope, schedule, budget, deliverables and measurement to improve organizational capacity to drive delivery system change.
    • Under minimal supervision, provide direction for multiple, complex and related projects to maximize overall benefit and alignment to strategic program objectives.
    • Collaborate with assigned project managers to identify project interdependencies and ensure project work streams maintain continuous alignment with program scope and objectives.
    • Oversee ongoing operations of assigned service lines.
    • Identify opportunities for coordination across projects and effectively deploy change management techniques to improve program outcomes.
    • Develop and manage standardized reporting plan to communicate and act on outputs, outcomes and achievement toward overall program objectives.
    • Align project team to strategic program goals and ensure project completion within time, budget and scope parameters.
    • Provides leadership, oversight and coaching for project managers assigned to projects within defined program areas.

    • Develops program content expertise throughout the PMO and seeks the input of subject matter experts within and outside the department and organization.

    • Facilitates consensus among divergent groups.

    • May supervise other staff as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    ·         5 years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or

    ·         3 years of related work experience with a Master’s degree, and

    ·         Demonstrated work experience managing clinical projects and/or clinical operations

    Ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical environment, either in an administrative or clinical capacity.

    PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP)
